Help at Cubs
Cubs is where young people start taking on bigger challenges. At 51st Ipswich Scouts, Cubs gives 8 to 10½ year olds a place to belong, build confidence and try new adventures with their friends.
As a Cubs Team Member, you’ll help young people join in with games, outdoor skills, badges, camps, community projects and activities chosen with them in mind. Some weeks you might help run part of the programme. Other weeks you might support a young person, help keep things organised or simply join in and encourage the group.
You don’t need to have been a Scout before. You’ll get training, support and a team around you. If you can bring patience, energy and a willingness to help, you’ll make a real difference.
Our Cubs section is popular, and places are limited by the number of adults we have. By volunteering, you could help more young people in Ipswich get their place.
